The LITC was created in 1984 under the University of New Orleans, College of Business Administration, to increase the number of Louisiana Business involved in international trade and foster economic development in Louisiana.

The LITC assists business people interested in exporting, importing, and in foreign investments.

At the LITC, counseling services are provided FREE of charge to LITC clients.  Information received and developed in the course of counseling by LITC personnel is kept in strict CONFIDENCE.
